Duren Kalibata Station Rail Crossing to Be Closed

The Duren Kalibata Station rail crossing, Pancoran, will be closed permanently. South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Transportation plans to close by mid of July 2016.

The closing date is waiting the field survey and socialization. But it will be closed surely

Head Section of Traffic for the agency, Afrinda, said the closing is based on Train Act No.23/2007 chapter 91 verse 1 and 2. Moreover, the closing is aimed to overcome traffic jam caused by public transport and motorcycle.

“The closing date is waiting the field survey and socialization. But it will be closed surely,” he said, Wednesday (6/29).

Kalibata Station to Be Integrated with Transjakarta Bus

Later on, traffic flow from Cawang to Kalibata and vice versa will pass Kalibata flyover. Traffic flow from Kalibata heading to Jalan Dewi Sartika, Cawang, can take turn under Rawajati flyover.

“Traffic circulation will be also managed later,” he closed.
